Host Richard Miller (Miller on Sports WBOB AM 600) interviewed Gene Deckerhoff, one of only four announcers ever inducted into the Florida Sports Hall of Fame. He has called FSU basketball since 1974, FSU football since 1979, Tampa Bay Buccaneers since 1989, and a variety of other sporting events. Deckerhoff's voice is recognizable to all sports fans. As the voice of the Florida State Seminoles, Deckerhoff has announced three national championship football games: 1998, 1999, and 2000.
