CHRISTIAN LAETTNER BASKETBALLS AUCTIONED

DUKE standout and NBA "DREAM TEAM" superstar Christian Laettner took time out from his busy schedule to assist a Jacksonville, Florida, charity golf tournament.   The tournament, hosted by the ABA professional basketball team Jacksonville Giants, will be held on Monday, September 5, 2011, at Deercreek Country Club and Golf Course.   A portion of the proceeds will be donated to "26.2 with Donna" to fight breast cancer.  In addition to a dinner and the tournament, there will be a silent auction, and the basketballs autographed by Christian Laettner today will be included in the many items to be auctioned.
