Florida vs. Tennessee: Wait Til Next Year

Remember those days when Florida football was a losing program.  Georgia would punish its arch rival, and other SEC teams would proudly do the same.  Florida fans would exclaim, "Wait until next year!"  They said it so many years that it actually became a well-known and often quoted joke.  Then, first with Steve Spurrier and then with Tim Tebow, the Florida program returned BIG and BAD and the envy of many other teams and coaches.

Now, the Florida program is so dominant that even if the team's loses a game, their t-shirts and memorabilia sales will finance the football program as well as a large portion of the university's budget.

For the past six years, Florida (No. 16) has beaten the Tennessee Volunteers (No. 9).  This year, Tennessee may have a fighting chance, but it will be a battle.  Otherwise, for the seventh year in a row, it will be the Tennessee fans, mimicking the phrase, "Wait until next year!"
