"My ultimate goal is to have a career as a research scientist. . . .  I would like to continue to grow spiritually, and I plan to read from my Bible every night and if possible join a Christian youth group at Ponte Vedra High School." - Joshua Miles Frase, Age 15.

Host Richard Miller interviewed former Jaguars defensive lineman Paul Frase on Friday, September 30, 2011.  Professionally in the NFL for 11 seasons from 1988-1998, Frase played for the New York Jets, the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Green Bay Packers.  In addition to a variety of topics, such as football, Coach Tom Coughlin, and Richard Collier, they discussed the Joshua Frase Foundation, which supports ongoing research for myotubular myopathy and other related congenital myopathies.

Joshua (Paul's son) was born on February 2, 1995, with myotubular myopathy, a muscle disorder.  Paul shared the touching story of Joshua's struggles, accomplishments, courage and perseverance.

On November 6, 2011, the 1996 Jaguars "Run to the Playoffs" NFC Championship Team will reunite for a fundraiser and film session (Iconic Innovations) to raise money for the Joshua Frase Foundation.  This event will be held at Three Forks Restaurant at Tapestry Park in Jacksonville, Florida.  To learn more about the Joshua Frase Foundation and the upcoming event and determine how you can help the foundation, visit www.joshuafrase.org.  This video is another reminder that every day is a blessing.
