In a sign that there may be a crack in the dam, Knicks Carmello Anthony, uttered what would be fighting words in most parts of the world. When asked if the NBA players would consider decertification of the Union, he said that the players are "sticking together" and that the players would do anything to have a season.
I thought that this was a rare occurence but apparently Unions are decertified approximately 200 times per year. Usually it is done because the Unions are undemocratic or in the eyes of the Union members, inept. It is hard to imagine that anyone making $1 million (to play a game) or above in this bad economy would push their boss or team owner to the wall. I've got to ask the question, what would you do?
