NFL: Do Not Hurt Each Other

Jacksonville, FL
By: J.E. Miller

If you were born in 1956 or earlier, you probably remember the days of the real NFL.

This was a time of metal cleats and unbridled full-contact football.  Where half the stains on the jersey were mud and the other half were blood.  The land of the real man.  When quarterbacks would stand in the pocket knowing full well that they'd be knocked into the middle of next week.

If you have never witnessed this level of play, be sure to watch the old Super Bowl games of the 60's or the rivalry matches between the teams of yesteryear.

Today with the pink hightops and even Arena football, the game has changed from a man's sport to an art form - something women can watch.

Now, to make the game just a little sweeter, the NFL has imposed fines for tackling.  Oh I know that it is a violent form of tackle, but at what point is the game going to become flag or touch football.

My question is: Who is getting all of this money collected from fees and fines?

Watch some of the hardest wildest hits of all time in the NFL - back when the clothesline and the chop block were legal.
