Now, with the tough economic times, players are pawning and selling their precious rings.

Fans are eager to snap them up when they become available for sums ranging from $10,000 to upwards of $100,000.

When we interviewed former Jacksonville Jaguar Paul Frase, we asked him if he would ever sell his NFC Championship ring, he quickly replied, "Never, only if it were the only way to support my family."
