CHRISTIAN LAETTNER BRIGHT HOUSE COMMENTATOR

NEWSFLASH - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

AGREEMENT REACHED FOR CHRISTIAN LAETTNER TO BE THE COLOR COMMENTATOR WITH BRIGHT HOUSE SPORTS NETWORK

Former NBA Star and Olympic Gold Medalist Christian Laettner will join Bright House Sports Network to cover the remaining University of Central Florida Basketball games this season.  Just this past week, Laettner assisted the ABA Jacksonville Giants in a buzzer beater in the last three seconds of the game, making the Giants now the Number One ABA team in the nation.  Giants Team Owner Ron Sholes commented, "Of course they would choose Laettner.  The man is one of the nation's greatest basketball legends and has so much more to give in his career.  The Giants are proud to have him as part of our team and know that the Giants would have been delivered their first loss at home if it had not been for his leadership and assists throughout that game."

Early this morning, Laettner said, "I am very excited about this new opportunity with Bright House Sports Network.  It will give me an opportunity to share so many of the lessons that I have learned over the years from coaches and other players.  I am truly blessed and look forward to joining this team of experts."

It has been twenty years since Laettner's famous Duke buzzer beater shot that is one of the most famous college sports moments in NCAA history.  Host Richard Miller of Miller on Sports stated, "Christian has been a weekly guest on Miller on Sports for the past year, and I truly respect his knowledge of  basketball mechanics.  With his background and love of the game, Christian will make an outstanding color commentator.  We wish him all the success with this new endeavor."
