Jacksonville Giants Vs. South Carolina Warriors

JACKSONVILLE GIANTS DEFEATED AT MYRTLE BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA, BY WARRIORS

After a terrific win Friday night in Fayetteville, North Carolina, against the Fayetteville Flight, the Giants faced the number 3 (ABA Power Rankings) South Carolina Warriors.    After a long hard game where the team on top changed every couple of minutes,  the Warriors took and held the lead in the last two minutes.

The final score,  Warriors 115,  Giants 109.

The Giants held the largest lead (ahead by 6) twice throughout the game.  Giants Currye Todd was hitting his patented 3 point shots.  With 8 minutes left in the fourth period, the Giants were up 93 to 87.  But in thirty seconds,  the Warriors tied the game.

Head Coach Kevin Waters commented, "It is hard to face defeat.  The Giants are winners through and through.  These guys gave it their all and should have won this game.  Our hats off to the Warriors.  We will meet them again."
